Plan what you mean to spend, then see how it went.

A budget sets a planned amount per account per period. Open it with Book ▸ Budget… (⌘B).

  • Auto-budget fills in amounts from what you actually spent.
  • Suggest Budget proposes monthly figures from six months of spending, using Apple Intelligence on this device.
  • The dashboard's Cashflow vs Budget card shows how the current period is tracking.

Budget-versus-actual is a report like any other, so you can export it or keep it as a favourite.
