Budgets

A budget sets a planned amount per account per period. Open it with Book ▸ Budget… (⌘B).

• Auto-budget fills in amounts from what you actually spent.
• Suggest Budget proposes monthly figures from six months of spending — with Apple Intelligence, on this device or on Private Cloud Compute as Settings ▸ Apple Intelligence says, or with a model of your own.
• The dashboard's Cashflow vs Budget card shows how the current period is tracking.

Budget-versus-actual is a report like any other, so you can export it or keep it as a favourite.
